Ryan Siew, 16, is an Australian guitarist who has astounded many in the contemporary metal scene with his
YouTube covers of technical songs by prominent bands such as Periphery, Killswitch Engage and Protest the Hero. Ryan has been involved in music from a very early age. Since Ryan first picked up guitar at age 11, he quickly developed his skills through learning music by ear and performing in front of family and friends. From the humble beginnings of playing Pop-Rock, he has since branched out to play an eclectic mix of Jazz, Progressive Metal and everything in between.
Ryan has shown great potential as a budding talent from a young age. This compounded with his determination to achieve a higher standard with every song he plays, both in terms of accuracy and production value, allows him to constantly challenge himself to grow as a guitar player, songwriter and as a musician.
