I first came across the GruvGear V Cart Solo as I checked out various booths at the Winter NAMM Show 2011 in Anaheim. A guy was pushing one loaded with boxes down one of the aisles. I'd never seen one before and it caught my eye, so I stopped him to ask about it. He said it wasn't his and didn't know much about it. He did say, however, that it worked well and he really liked it. I'd been looking for something like that for a while, but hadn't found anything I really liked. I checked the NAMM Show directory, found your booth, stopped by and met all the cool, friendly GruvGear people. I was given a quick but thorough demonstration of how the V Cart Solo worked and was immediately sold. I examined it carefully and was impressed by the quality and functionality of the cart. I bought one and said I'd be by to pick it up at the close of the show late Sunday afternoon.
Just after 5:00 pm on Sunday, I picked up my V Cart Solo and wheeled it back to our Nalu Ukulele Co. booth. My partners checked it out and were similarly impressed. We broke down our 10' x 10' booth and boxed everything up. Our booth consisted of interlocking carpet tile flooring, six 6' tall grid walls, hangers for all our ukes, a triangular grid wall display, 21 ukuleles, cases, and all of our other miscellaneous items. We loaded everything on my V Cart Solo and vacated Hall E in a single trip! It was great. We didn't have to wait hours for our empty cartons to be returned to us as we had the prior year. I don't know how much that full load weighed, but I can tell you it was a lot due to the grid walls. The cart's tires and wheels rolled smoothly and effortlessly, so moving our heavy load was no problem.
Hands down, my GruvGear V Cart Solo was the best purchase I made at the Winter NAMM 2011 Show. GruvGear's got a line of high quality, well-designed products which no exhibitor or band should be without. I love the way my V Cart Solo collapses down so that it easily fits in the trunk of my car. I'm looking forward to many years of good use. Thanks, GruvGear!
